Sounds like my current job.

It's amazing.. I think Scott Adams (Dilbert's creator) must have once worked at the place I'm currently employed at.

The rush on the current project and nothing holdin' 'em back attitude seems to be depicted well in this cartoon.



I love the fact that management has decided that we should proceed at all cost no matter issues there are:

• No backups
• No contingency/rollback process
• No disaster recovery process

The best statement heard in management jibberish: "We've put our name to this project, so we need to ensure it's a raging success".

Strangely, I got a blank stare from the same manager when I asked why would we put our name to such a project when the points listed above are non-existant.

- sigh Another paycheck and a little bit more of me dies inside.....
